Lowcountry Produce is a purveyor of regional Southern delicacies from the coastal areas of South Carolina and Georgia. All of our products are handmade and handpacked using only all-natural ingredients. The seasonal rhythm of family food production and preservation has nearly disappeared, but the memory of those delicious foods of the past still lingers. So about five years ago, Lowcountry Produce

decided to collect our own regional and family recipes and produce those special foods to let people have a continuing connection to the way things used to be. Our efforts have been well received, and our customers have been glad to leave the canning and preserving process to us and reap the benefits of our labor by serving foods that are pretty close to what Grandma used to make. We are true believers in our small-batch, hand-packed products. We support our local farmers. We make each product at the time when our ingredients are at their peak. Our recipes represent the best food traditions of the lowcountry. Located in Lobeco, South Carolina, Lowcountry Produce brings you the best of these unique flavors. October 1st our pumpkins arrive!! the following Monday the pumpkin patch will be open to the public. In honor of it our bakers have made these adorable and tasty pound cake jack-o-lanterns. Be sure to swing by and celebrate fall and all the fun of the season with us. We are open daily from 8 to 5 with lunch until 2:30 and breakfast on the weekends.

It's a rainy day in the lowcountry, and I must say the rain is more than welcome we really needed it. There is a lot of work being done at our new building downtown in preperation for the grand opening. We are so excited and hope to see everyone there. Be sure to swing by our store in Lobeco and get some of our fresh baked bread or lunch. As always have a wonderful week and starting next week we will restart our recipe of the week. I should also have a menu posted for lunch and breakfast soon.

We are so glad to have so many new friends on facebook. For all of our friends that don't like in the area or did not hear we will be opening a new location in the old town hall building in downtown Beaufort. It will hopefully be open come mid October. We will continue to serve from our Lobeco store as well and are very excited for the new venture. Have a great week everyone!

Finally we have some much needed rain here in the Lowcountry. This week we have a new prepared foods in our deli cases including stuffed bell peppers and pasta carbonara. These are great items to stop in and pick up when you don't have the time to cook dinner. So stop on by and grab some lunch for here or dinner to go. As always there will be a new recipe in our discussion section for you to try.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful week. It has been gorgeous here in the lowcountry. This weekend we will be in Charleston at the food festival with Charleston Cooks! We hope to see everyone there. Well ladies and gents, We just wanted to take a quick minute to thank everyone in their continued support. The Farmstand Breakfast is starting to become a big hit. We serve Saturday and Sunday 7:30 til 10:30. We have also recently broken ground on our new Cannery kitchen. This will allow us to produce more of your favorite products while keeping that small batch taste you look for.
