From our co-founder and executive director.

Hello Community,
I’ve decided to make a run for the City Council seat in District Two!

These past years of advocating have taught me that solutions come from the communities closest to the problem. And, I’ve been out here talking with all of you to learn how I can best serve you and the needs of our communities. I cannot be more thrilled doing what I love most - listening, sharing resources, dreaming of bold innovated solutions that serve the most marginalized in our society. I know that with you by my side there is nothing we cannot accomplish together!
I hope you can take a moment and show your support. I need 150 signatures and 150 donations of $10 or more to qualify to receive democracy vouchers. Please visit my website - link in bio. Times are hard for many of us so if you can generously donate time, please fill out the volunteer form.

Are you in the restaurant/hospitality industry and haven’t been able to get a first or second COVID-19 vaccine yet? Are you not sure if you should and want a safe space to talk to a medical professional about it? We are partnering with and for a free, no-questions-asked but all-questions answered vaccination clinic. L’Oursin will open their doors next Monday, October 25th from 11am to 3pm. Even if you’re not in the industry and need the vaccine, all are welcome. All information will be confidential, with no IDs required. 1315 E. Jefferson St. We will have $50 Safeway gift cards available to the first 100 attendees.
