What a special way to kick off Memorial Day Weekend at Ted’s Fried Clams. ❤️

A huge thank you to the for helping us celebrate the official ribbon cutting and the return of Ted’s to 7 days a week service for the summer season.

One of the best parts of the morning was welcoming back so many former Ted’s employees from throughout the years. Hearing the stories, memories, and connections people have to this place reminded us just how much history lives within these walls.

Ted’s has been a Maine summer tradition since 1950, and it means the world to our team to help carry that tradition forward for another generation.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Summer at Ted’s is officially underway.

Camps are opening back up across Maine, cars are packed to the roof, and family summer traditions are officially kicking back into gear. For a lot of people, that first stop of the season is Ted’s Fried Clams.

We’re open 7 days a week from 11AM–9PM serving up fried seafood, lobster rolls, pizza, chowder, cold drinks, and ice cream all weekend long.

Swing by on your way to camp, after the lake, or whenever the fried clam cravings hit. Summer starts here.

For generations Ted’s has been a family summer tradition. As we officially kick off our Grand Opening Weekend, we want to invite all former Ted’s Fried Clams employees to join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony this Friday, May 22nd at 10:30 AM and carry on that generational history.

Whether you worked the fryers, scooped ice cream, waited tables, or spent summers behind the counter, we’d love to celebrate this next chapter with you. Come photo ready, bring your stories, reconnect with old friends, and help us honor the incredible history of Ted’s as we carry the tradition forward into a new season.
