TEN YEARS. 🤍

It’s hard to believe Indigo Laine started in our spare bedroom… then slowly took over our laundry room. What began as a dream and a whole lot of faith has become more than I ever imagined.

Over the last 10 years, God has grown this business in the most unexpected ways. Because of Indigo Laine, I’ve been able to raise my two kids, travel, create alongside an incredible team, and meet so many wonderful people who have become dear friends.

Thank you for every purchase, every kind word, every custom order, every share, and every bit of encouragement along the way. You helped build this story.

Ten years… can you believe it?

What started as a personal project has turned into the adventure of a lifetime, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

Over the last 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of creating pieces for business owners, world travelers, day-trippers, incredible companies, Tandy Leather, and even a few world-famous artists along the way. Every order, every conversation, every visit to the shop has become part of the Indigo Laine story.

Now it’s time to celebrate!

Every Indigo Laine piece starts right here in our workshop in Sinton. From the first sketch to the pattern, cutting, sewing, and finishing touches…it’s all done in house by our team. There aren’t many places left where you can watch products being made, and we think that’s pretty special.✨

If you’re in the area, come by and see the process for yourself. We always love having visitors!

We still have a few pieces from our For Her Collection available online. Once they’re spoken for, they’re gone. We don’t restock collections like this, so if you’ve had your eye on one, now’s the time.

How fun is this?

We are so thankful to have landed in the Top 3 in the Handmade (Non-Jewelry) category in The Bend Magazine’s Locals List!

To everyone who voted, shopped with us, shared our posts, brought your friends into the shop, or has simply cheered us on over the years…thank you. Y’all are the reason we get to come to work every day and keep making things with our hands.

Congratulations to all of the winners! We have some pretty incredible small businesses here in the Coastal Bend, and it’s fun to celebrate all of them.

A huge thank you to The Bend Magazine for putting together such a great event that celebrates local businesses. And thank you for the wonderful story you wrote about Indigo Laine. It still feels a little surreal that our little leather shop in downtown Sinton gets to be part of something like this.

Now…it’s back to the shop. We’ve got leather to cut, bags to build, and a 10th birthday celebration to get ready for.

The Blue Collar Collection has been over 20 years in the making.

I’ve always had a hard time walking away from materials with a story. If I find a piece of vintage denim, worn fabric, or old metal that captures my heart, I buy it and tuck it away, trusting that one day the right project will come along.

Some of these treasures came from Round Top. Some came from roadside junk shops. A few came straight out of my husband’s closet. They’ve been collected little by little over the last two decades, waiting for their purpose.

Now, they’re coming together with our full-grain leather to create the Blue Collar Collection. Every bag is handcrafted in Sinton, Texas, combining leather with vintage denim, fabrics, and reclaimed metal details. Because every material is different, every piece will be truly one of one.

We’re launching the Blue Collar Collection in late July to celebrate 10 years of Indigo Laine. It feels like the perfect way to honor the journey that brought us here—a collection built from stories, memories, and materials that deserved another life.

If you’re local, we’d love for you to stop by the shop and watch the process. You can see these pieces come to life—from cutting leather to sewing, assembling, and all the little details in between. We make everything right here in our Sinton workshop.
