WNEC Law Food Frenzy

WNEC Law Food Frenzy The Legal Food Frenzy (LFF) is based on a similar campaign held for the past five years by the Virginia AG’s Office.

The LFF will benefit the four Food Banks in Massachusetts. We invite legal organizations to sign up to participate. Participants collect non-perishable food items and money between March 28 and April 8, 2011. The participant that raises the most food/money per capita is awarded the “Legal Food Frenzy Cup” for one year. Sam Charron has made it clear to the Attorney General's Office that we are goin

g to win this year. The first annual LFF was piloted in the Greater Boston area and benefitted the Greater Boston Food Bank, which provides hunger-relief throughout eastern Massachusetts. Over 46 law firms, law schools and legal associations participated in the competition. Collectively, the LFF in 2010 raised the equivalent of, in food and funds, 350,000 pounds of food. This provided an additional 180,000 meals for hungry families in eastern Massachusetts.
