I know everybody is out having fun, enjoying the festivities, dressing up, and making the most of these spooky nights, and I'm certainly not here to shame anybody for having a good time!

BUT... if you're planning on drinking or partaking in any substances or combination thereof, that means you shouldn't be behind the wheel. Do yourself, your passengers, and everybody else on the road a favor: CALL A DD!

And by DD, of course I mean a DESIGNATED DRIVER! 🚗💨

That's where I come in! If you need a safe ride home or need to get somewhere without getting behind the wheel yourself, give me a call or text. I'll make sure you get where you're going safely. You don't have to worry about judgment here and you don't have to think I will look down on you. I want you to have a good time! I just want you to do so RESPONSIBLY!

I don't care if it's 7 days after you watched the tape from The Ring, Friday The 13th, Halloween night itself, or the 3AM witching hour. I'd much rather help you get home safely than see anybody take an unnecessary risk.

⚠️ A QUICK BUT IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT RIDES ⚠️

Let me make something very clear: If you've requested a ride, I've confirmed it, and I'm already on my way to pick you up, I expect the same basic courtesy and communication that I give every one of my customers.

If you've found another ride, made other arrangements, or simply changed your mind, that's absolutely fine! Things happen, plans change, and I completely understand. All I ask is that you PLEASE let me know ahead of time. A quick phone call or even a text message is all it takes.

What is NOT acceptable is having me drive from downtown Saint Marys all the way to your pickup location on the the farthest end of Kingsland, only to have you ignore my calls, repeatedly decline my attempts to contact you, and completely disappear without so much as a message explaining that you no longer need the ride. Now I have spent a good 25 minutes getting to you and ran out a 1/4th tank of gas for absolutely nothing.

I'm running an independent business, and my time, fuel, and effort are valuable. I make a genuine effort to communicate with every customer, keep everyone informed, and make sure their needs are taken care of. I expect that same level of respect and consideration in return. Not only do you inconvenience me by doing this, you inconvenience my other customers. It's not fair and you also do yourself a disservice by burning a bridge with someone who will go above and beyond for you.

If you waste my time and leave me sitting in a parking lot after I've made the trip from one end of the county to the other to pick you up, you can pretty much guarantee that I will not be providing you with another ride in the future, no matter how dire your situation is.

I genuinely appreciate every customer who supports The Delivery Dude, and I will always do my best to treat people fairly, respectfully, and professionally. All I'm asking is that you extend that same courtesy to me. I don't know if it is because I am so nice to people or what that makes me seem like a total pushover, but I assure you I am not. And I refuse to be treated like I am.

Respect goes both ways. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who understands and continues to support my business! The amount of customers who do this is EXTREMELY minimal. I just felt the need to put this out here due to a bad incident that happened this morning. I look forward to hearing from more of you soon! :)

I mistakenly thought yesterday was Wednesday and today was Thursday, and after being out on runs so late last night, I ended up oversleeping. Though it should have ALREADY been done for her, Bee is FINALLY going into surgery today for her ankle and foot, and we’re all keeping her in our prayers. 🙏 Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery, a speedy recovery, and a smooth road to healing.
