Becca's Bakery Hi, I’m Becca, the baker behind Becca’s Bakery. I was lucky enough to grow up in a time where family dinners were a nightly occurrence. They weren’t fancy.

I’m a proud veteran and woman-owned small business owner with a serious cheesecake obsession and a talent for baking people happy. My love for cooking and baking came honestly and grew from the visits to my great-grandmother’s house. Memaw would always have the best homemade sweet treats. They were tired and true homemade goodness, not flashy as we get now. But boy were they always delicious. And

most importantly, they were made with love. Daddy was no slacker in the cooking department. To this day, his gumbo and fajitas are the scale I judge all others against! I am so grateful that I learned from the best and am armed with handed down, tried and true recipes that I can use to share the goodness with you. My son Logan has always been my biggest advocate to opening a bakery. He and his brother like to nominate me for bake sales and class desserts on a regular basis. And most of you will hear about my Sugga-man when reading posts. My husband is my biggest supporter. Late nights, last minute grocery shopping, deliveries, box building, and dishwashing are just a few jobs he helps with. I would not be able to do all I do without him. If you have gotten this far, thank you for sticking around and reading the sentimental stuff. I hope to bake for ya'll and hope ya'll love everything.

Running a small business isn’t a cute little hobby—it’s long nights, early mornings, and pouring your heart (and wallet) into every single order.

So yeah… every penny matters.

Getting stiffed doesn’t just “inconvenience” us. It hits where it hurts. And when it comes from another business? That one stings a little deeper. You’d think there’d be a mutual understanding… a little more respect for the hustle.

After all, most businesses wouldn’t let a customer walk out without paying their dinner check, tab, or invoice. Why should it be any different when it’s time to pay the people who provided the product or service?

We show up. We deliver. We hold up our end.

All we ask is the same in return.

With that said, prepayment may start becoming a 100% requirement. We hate to have to group everyone together like that, but at the end of the day, we have to protect our business.

We’re still holding onto hope that the right thing will be done.

Marriage update after 10 years:

Through ups and downs, and all the little something-or-others in between, we’ve somehow made it work.

He: “I’m sweeping.”
Me: “I’m supervising.”

I’d say we’ve got this partnership thing figured out. 😂❤️

Happy 10th Anniversary to this crazy fella. I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else… even if he does all the sweeping (or maybe because of). 😉 here is to making it work another ten or so years. 🥰
