Traveled to Wheaton MD over the weekend to compete in The MoCo Smoke Show. Cooked the Backyard division and finished 4th in chicken, 8th in Ribs, and 7th overall. Now to reset and get ready for Frosty Butts in two weeks.

In the Backyard Division congratulations to Better Half Barbecue on their Grand Champion win and Lil Meat Big Flavor on Reserve Grand Champion. In the Masters Division congratulations to Country Boys BBQ Competition Team on Grand Champion and Old Virginia Smoke on Reserve Grand Champion.

Earlier I made a post of the results from my first sanctioned BBQ Contest. I forgot to thank my family and friends that provided feedback over the multiple weeks I spent practicing.

I am taking this weekend off, practicing will likely resume next weekend as I prep for the next competition.
