For most of us, Friday means the end of another work week.

For someone deployed, it may just be another day away from home.

Another dinner missed. Another bedtime over FaceTime. Another birthday, ballgame, anniversary, or ordinary Tuesday they wish they could be there for.

And back home, there are spouses keeping everything moving, kids counting down the days, parents waiting for the next phone call, and families doing their best while someone they love is thousands of miles away.

That’s why we wear red.

Not because it's a trend. Not because it's a hashtag.

Because remembering matters.

So today, take a moment for the men and women currently serving far from home, and for the families waiting for them to walk back through the door.

Until they all come home.

WARRIOR WEDNESDAY 🇺🇸

Every veteran has a story, but military service is only one chapter of it.

There’s the person who came before the uniform, the experiences that happened while wearing it, and maybe most importantly, the life that came afterward.

That’s what we want Warrior Wednesday to be about.

We want to use this space to share the stories of veterans, service members, military spouses, and others within our military community. The careers you've built. The businesses you've started. The families you've raised. The struggles you've overcome. The weird turns life has taken. And yeah, even the stories that still make you laugh years later.

You don't need to have a heroic story. You don't need a long list of accomplishments.

You just need a story that's yours.

🐕🇺🇸 National K9 Veterans Day 🇺🇸🐕

Today we honor the incredible military working dogs and K9 veterans who served alongside our service members in some of the most dangerous environments in the world. These dogs were more than assets in the field—they were loyal partners, protectors, and heroes in their own right.

The bond between veterans and dogs continues long after service. For many veterans, that connection provides healing, purpose, and companionship during the transition back to civilian life.

At Greens To Grounds Coffee Co., we’re proud to support organizations doing incredible work to strengthen that bond.

🐾 Sierra Delta helps veterans train dogs for a variety of roles and purposes, while also providing grants and support to make professional training accessible. Their work helps veterans build powerful partnerships with dogs that support healing, purpose, and everyday life.

🐾 BATTLE BORNE rescues dogs that may otherwise face euthanasia and helps place them with veterans, giving both the dog and the veteran a second chance at purpose, companionship, and healing.

Organizations like these remind us that sometimes the strongest support a veteran can have walks beside them on four legs.

Today we honor every K9 veteran who served, and we recognize the ongoing work being done to support veterans through the incredible bond between humans and dogs.

🇺🇸 RED Friday – Remember Everyone Deployed

Today’s RED Friday feels heavier than usual.

Over the past week, several American service members lost their lives during the escalating conflict involving Iran. These were sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, leaders and teammates — people who put on the uniform and accepted a responsibility most never will.

Among those we remember are Captain Cody A. Khork, Sergeant 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, Sergeant 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, Sergeant Declan J. Coady, and others who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.

Behind every name is a family forever changed, a unit missing a teammate, and a community carrying their memory forward.

At Greens To Grounds, RED Friday isn’t just a tradition — it’s a reminder.
A reminder that while most of us move through our normal routines, there are still men and women deployed around the world standing watch.

Today we remember those who didn’t make it home.

Wear red.
Say their names.
Honor their sacrifice.
And keep their families in your thoughts.

I just received an order of one of everything we currently offer, and seeing it all together honestly feels surreal.

This isn’t a customer order — it’s me making sure I have the full lineup in hand as we keep building, improving, and getting ready for what’s next. But it’s a reminder that this brand is becoming real, one product at a time.
