As a chef, I don’t hand out five-star reviews lightly, but Toast 101 earned it.
The Bananas Foster French Toast had a beautifully caramelized exterior with a soft, rich center and just the right amount of sweetness. The homemade corned beef hash was exceptional—crispy on the outside, tender and moist in the middle, with perfectly golden, well-seasoned potatoes. The fresh red onion added brightness, and the horseradish aioli brought everything together with a great balance of flavor.
The Prickly Pear and Watermelon Mimosas were refreshing and paired perfectly with brunch. On top of that, the restaurant was clean, relaxing, and welcoming.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot in Tucson that’s serious about quality, Toast 101 is absolutely worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
