Today, we're releasing a special pilot batch b**r named, Jean Luc's L***r, a 5.2% Vienna Style L***r, brewed in memory of Sir Patrick Stewart.
We've been Star Trek fans since we were kids, growing up with its stories of exploration, discovery, friendship, and a future where people from all walks of life have a place among the stars.
One of the things we've always loved most about Star Trek is its message of inclusivity: that our differences make us stronger, that there's always room for everyone, and that the universe is a much better place when we explore it together. Those ideals have helped shape who we are as a brewery. They're part of what inspired "Brewed For Everyone."
Patrick Stewart's portrayal of Captain Jean-Luc Picard embodied so much of what we love about Star Trek. His character reminded us to lead with compassion, stay curious, embrace the unknown, and always strive to be better.
We wanted to raise a glass to Patrick, to the character he brought to life, and to the universe that has inspired us for so many years.
Proceeds from Jean Luc's l***r will be donated to the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. We encourage anyone who is able to contribute to this important cause.
