The Geoduck Tavern opened in 1938. Murray and Sue Perley took over The Geoduck Tavern in the mid 1970s. A fire in 1989 destroyed much of the bar. It was rebuilt as the Geoduck Restaurant and Lounge in 1990. Murray and Sue's daughter Melissa took over in Sept.2009 after Sue passed. Melissa, her son-in-law are involved with the daily operations. The Geoduck Restaurant and Lounge hosts an annual Salmon Derby typically the first weekend of March. March 2 & 3, 2013 was the 31st annual derby.

After Saturday’s shenanigans while rying to have entertainment this happened. Side drain field with beer cans left all over, people walking through the front door with their own drinks and vandalizing my bathroom. I and my staff work very hard to provide a clean environment for patrons. At this point, I’m ready to put the men’s room outside in a porta potty.
