What do we do?
Kansas is on the forefront for this regenerative agriculture movement, mimicking nature and moving livestock in a similar way that buffalo once roamed the prairie in huge herds. Our producers have some large claims such as reversing climate change, ending drought and creating a more nutrient dense food. Our goal is to share knowledge and connect you with what we believe has changed our health and life for the better. We want to source this great food to consumers like us, looking for a healthy life.
Why?
When the soil is alive lots of things start working together. Tiny workers in the soil start mining, collecting and trading goods and services from each other. The partnership between plant roots, microbes, minerals, fungi and insects starts kicking into high gear. Nature is amazingly complex. There is a new breed of farmers who are beginning to understand these relationships and are using it to produce a better product. We happen to have some of the frontiers of this movement right here in Kansas. They are mimicking nature in their farming techniques and regenerating soils.

Why do we exist?

Studies have shown…

A recent Harvard study of the links between brain health and food quality revealed higher nutrient foods result in people who feel better. Since 1941, the content of calcium and iron have dropped 30% and 51% respectively, according to Composition of Foods. In June 2017, Beef Producer showed how an increase in soil health contributed to a significant increase in minerals in cattle. In the Nutritional Journal, a study was examined where natural forage animals had a higher concentration of complex plant compounds over traditional farming.

Regenerate the soil, Regenerate you

Mercola.com states regenerative agriculture is all about building up the life in soil. Most “factory farms” use ample chemical and fertilizer that does not allow this life to survive. We don’t want to prop up our soil or our bodies with chemistry to get by. We want to restore function and have our soil and bodies working for us converting nutrients into life, regeneration, and energy.
