Just a little insight onto why royal icing cookies are definitely a luxury party item and the reasoning behind my pricing…
If I were to purchase a cookie cutter for all these unique sets, not only would I struggle to find them, but also by now I’d need an entire shed for just cookie cutter storage!
So instead, I freehand sketch the designs I want onto thin cardboard, cut it out, then use a penblade to hand cut each shape multiple times. That means these kind of cookies take hours upon hours once you add in the icing layering. They truly are a labor of love but it’s the best seeing the final set really come together !
