This is how I feel today.

Today was a day.

I appreciate people's opinions but only to a certain extent. Today there was only 3 of us, we were fine at first until we weren't it got busy!
And I had to come to the realization that customer service was crappy, I felt like a chicken with my head cut off so I made the decision to close the kitchen from 1 to 3. And only focus on shakes and ice cream until our other employee got in at 3.

Not only because it was busy but you all deserve the best service and we werent giving that.
I understand some people got mad and some people wrote bad reviews.

Things happen... and today was just one of those days. So for everyone that was patient and kind to us I appreciate you. And to everyone that was rude just know not everyday is like today. Just a bad day. Come back tomorrow when we have more staff and you'll feel the difference.

Times are a little funky this week.

Alot of people have requested this week off, we lost a main person (she ditched us for a new job... we still love her) 🤣🤣 and Friday we have alot of appointments.

So that being said here is the hours for this week.

And be patient and kind to my workers.

We have had alot of new customers (which we love) be surprised we have huge lines but werent so patient with the longer wait times when we got busy.
We appreciate you all!

Twain Fire update, 7:30 a.m.: Hard work by firefighters overnight and favorable weather conditions resulted in little to no overnight growth and 10% containment on the fire. The fire is still holding at 276 acres this morning.

More Federal, state, and local resources continue to arrive on scene at Twain, where they maintain 24 hour engagement on the fire which is burning in the footprint of the 2021 Dixie Fire. Snags (dead standing trees) from that fire do present a hazard to firefighters on the line.

Smoke from the was visible as far away as Susanville yesterday. Smoke conditions today will be dependent on weather.

Highway 70 remains open, with controlled traffic in place. An evacuation warning is in place by the Plumas County Sheriff's Office for residents between the Greenville Wye west to Rush Creek on the north side of Highway 70 only.

What’s happening**: Increased water flows for whitewater recreation. Conditions are suitable only for skilled paddlers; tubing is not advised.
When**: Through the weekend of June 27–28, with additional high-flow weekends later in the year (July 25–26, Aug 22–23, Sept 26–27). 🌊
Where**: Rock Creek Reach, 8.3 miles of the North Fork Feather River from Rock Creek Dam to the Rock Creek Powerhouse near Storrie. 🗺️

Flow details (Rock Creek Reach)

Sat, June 27**: 1,100 cfs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Sat 9:00 AM – Sun 2:00 PM**: 900 cfs
Sun 2:00 PM onward**: Gradual return to ~400 cfs (season normal) 📉

Safety tips from PG&E

Class III–V rapids** present at higher flows — only for experienced paddlers. 🧭
Tubing is not safe** during these conditions. 🛶✖️
Cold water risk**: Sudden immersion can trigger gasps, drowning, hypothermia, or cardiac issues. 🧊
If you’re not an experienced paddler, consider guided trips. 🧭

What you can do locally

Spread the word** to hikers, boaters, and floaters about the dangerous conditions. 📣
If you recreate near the river:
Monitor water levels 📈
Wear life jackets 🦺
Have a plan and avoid entering the water if you’re not trained for Class III–V rapids 🏃‍♀️
Call 911** for emergencies or if you see someone in distress. 🚨

Stay informed and share this warning with neighbors and visitors to Plumas County. For more details, see PG&E’s advisory and safety guidance at PG&E Hydro Safety: https://www.pge.com/hydrosafety 💧
