Bonnievale Golf Club - A friendly request to our community
Dear Bonnievale Community,
Bonnievale Golf Club is proud to be a valuable community asset enjoyed by residents, visitors, and golf enthusiasts alike. Maintaining the course and facilities to a high standard requires significant time, effort, and financial investment.
Unfortunately, the club has recently experienced increasing incidents of vandalism, as well as cattle roaming freely on the golf course. Bonnievale Golf Club is private property, and unauthorized access by people or animals causes damage to the greens and other areas of the course. This damage results in substantial repair and maintenance costs that the club must bear to keep the course in good condition for its members, visitors, and the wider community.
We understand that this situation may not be intentional, and we would like to approach it in a positive and constructive manner. The club’s management would appreciate the opportunity to connect with the owner(s) of the cattle to better understand the situation and explore possible solutions that could benefit everyone involved.
If you know who the cattle belong to, or if you are the owner, we kindly ask that you contact us. We believe that open communication and cooperation are the best ways to address this challenge and ensure that the golf course remains a facility that the entire community can be proud of.
