It’s a lazy Monday, and I’m posting from my couch. The gentle Winter’s sun dancing through the lounge window, and in the distance, the hum of a w**d eater fills my space.
After working flat out on pancakes since last Thursday afternoon, and not having much of a weekend at all, it’s time to rest a bit.
Most of our beautiful pancake customer’s and friends are at work today, but this pancake mommy was able to lie in a little, and spend precious time with loved ones, go for a walk, clean the house, and catch up with some friends.
Today, as I reflect, my heart runs over with gratitude. I’m so thankful that because of the kindness or Spargs, and the generosity of those who support us, I’m able to support my family as a single mom.
Samuel is now also full-time back in the business, and Jesse helps part-time (he’s completing his studies).
Please don’t forget that we take orders during the week, and delivery can be arranged.
