We got a message from Municipality that power will be out on Tuesday from 8:30 till 4pm. So the menu will be for Wednesday 16 September.

Good morning everyone. Thank you for all your support and great feedback this past week.
This coming week it will be a cooler week, so let's do food to warm us up a bit.

Wednesday 5 August

* Lasange (only a few left) @ R60
(quite a meaty lasange with bacon and thick creamy sauce - not the traditional one... Oh and cooked in lots of white wine)

* Barley, vegetable and lamb soup with slices of home made ciabatta @ R45 (approx 500ml)

* Barley and vegetable soup (V) with slices of home made ciabayta @ R40 (approx 500ml)

* Pizza oven bake (free range chicken with pork sausage and potatoes with lots of lime and rosemary open baked in the pizza oven) with roasted veg @ R80

* 12 cm Courgette, feta, caramelized onions, parmesan and cheddar filled quiche @ R35

Pork sausage will be custom made by Toinette at the McG Country butcher to get the perfect balance for the dish.
