Milk dinner rolls recipe

-1 cup milk
-1/4 cup water
-1/4 cup softened butter
-2 tbsn sugar
-2 tbsn yeast
-1 egg
-1 tspn salt
-5 cups flour

Method

-Mix 1cup warm milk and 1/4 cup warm water together
-Add sugar and yeast to the milk and cover for 5 minutes to foam
-Add flour,egg,salt and butter
-Knead
-Let Dough rise until double in size
-Shape into balls ,and place on a tray
-Let it rise again
-Bake at 180 for 20 min

Use melted butter to brush while still hot

Homemade Hamburger Peppers And Onion Gyros 😋

Ingredients
1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tsp Olive Oil
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped red pepper
1 cup onion, chopped
1 can Rotel green chiles with diced tomatoes, your choice Hot or Mild
4 Pita breads, softened and warmed slightly
½ cup sour cream
¼ blue cheese crumbles

Directions
Slightly warm the Pitas in the microwave
In a skillet crumble the ground beef
Add in the olive oil, green and red peppers, and the onion
Cook until meat is no longer pink
Continue until the peppers and the onions have softened
Add in the can of Rotel and stir to mix in well
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Layout four sheets of aluminum foil
Place a pita on each
Add roughly ¼ of the meat mix onto each pita
Using the aluminum foil, roll up the foil and the gyro together
Top with the sour cream and blue cheese if desired.
