One of the biggest misconceptions when buying a caravan is that an aluminium-framed van is completely waterproof.
😓😓
While the aluminium frame itself won’t rot or be affected by water, the wall cavity and internal materials certainly can. Once water finds its way in, it can still cause significant damage that often goes unnoticed until it’s too late.

Quick update on how we went at the Brisbane Caravan & Camping Show 🙂

This was a very last-minute decision for us to fly up and check out the show, so we only had one day there. We managed to get a lot done, but honestly we still didn’t get anywhere near enough time to see everything we wanted to.

As always, keep in mind that we don’t have any sponsors and everything we post is simply my honest opinion and how I see things 😀.

There were plenty more brands and vans I wanted to film, but with only one day available, we just couldn’t make the time work.

That being said, the Brisbane show was absolutely amazing! The range of caravans, products and displays was incredible, and it was great to see so many people passionate about getting out and exploring Australia.

This is hands down my favourite way to replace a pop-top caravan roof 💪🏼💪🏼

Composite panels are definitely the future - strong, lightweight, and best of all, completely waterproof. Say no more! 😀
