Things are changing at The View Restaurant at the Albany Entertainment Centre.

A brand-new lunch menu.

Hi Albany!

Just a quick heads-up that we will be closed this Sunday, 28th June.

It’s our Head Chef’s birthday, and after all the hard work he puts in, he deserves a weekend off to spend with his family and celebrate.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

We’re still open for lunch and dinner on Friday and lunch and dinner on Saturday, so make sure you book your table today. Our phone number is below.

Also, keep your eyes peeled because a brand-new menu is coming very, very soon, and we think you’re going to be pretty excited about what’s on the way.

Here is our caramel kaffir lime flan – silky smooth and absolutely bloody delicious.

These beauties are cooked on a low heat in our combi oven on a gentle steam setting, giving them that perfect creamy texture without the need for a water bath.

If you haven’t tried one yet, make sure you book in on a Friday or Saturday night here at View Restaurant at the Albany Entertainment Centre and discover just how good they are.

We also have our poached pear dessert. Each pear is gently poached in red wine with aromatics and fresh orange zest until perfectly tender while still holding its shape. The poaching liquor is then reduced down into a rich syrup, and the pear is served with a warm chocolate sauce made completely in-house.

Before service, we coat the pear in that beautiful syrup and finish it with toasted peanuts for a little crunch and texture.

Fun fact: this is the very dessert our Head Chef, Che, cooked on My Kitchen Rules.

We’ve changed the way we do our pork belly, and I’ve got to tell you… this is absolutely banging.

Just look at that crackling. Crispy, golden, and packed with flavour.

This isn’t a quick process either. It takes us two full days to prepare this pork belly, using a combination of techniques to dry out the skin and create that perfect crunch while keeping the meat juicy and tender.

The result? Some of the crispiest pork belly we’ve ever served.

Unfortunately, the restaurant will not be open this weekend due to technical issues and maintenance that needs to be carried out. This is completely out of our control, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We are planning to reopen next Thursday and look forward to welcoming you back then. Thank you for your understanding and patience, and once again, we’re very sorry for any disruption this may have caused.
