One of the things we treasure most at Fredericks is our regulars, the conversations, the familiar faces & the everyday rhythm they bring to our days🤎

We stopped by to say hello to Mr Walsh & Rod and asked them a few questions about their time with us.

Mr Walsh & Rod have been coming in since 2012, becoming part of us over the years.

From bacon & eggs to jam & cheese toasties, their orders haven’t really changed, and neither has what keeps them coming back. They told us it’s the people, the consistency, and that feeling of being at home.

We usually see them here between 9:30 and 10am, “otherwise we’d be heading home for a nana nap or catching the bus,” as they said.

A fun moment from the chat, since they’re both regular tea drinkers, they mentioned that once Nicole (front of house) jokingly said they might start charging $2 for hot water, so Mr Walsh said he’d just bring his own thermos from home next time🤭

When asked to describe Fredericks in one word: “Nice” and “Consistency”.

A special mention to Gary, who joined in at the end to say hello, always lovely to see him around.

And Rod… still asking for payment and credits for his interview appearance!😁
