So here is a short list of some things that $100 prize money will get you:

- Approximately 33 litres of diesel
- 15 green cabbages
- 1 x Nike running shoe (you have to win next year if you want a pair)
- 12.5 iced coffees
- 100 Chupa Chups

So get out there and risk it for the biscuit! (or rather, brownie)

If you have a brownie or a blondie you think will impress, then make sure you're ready for Tuesday the 19th of May. Our three judges have solemnly committed to me they will taste every single entry to determine the best brownie in Alpha. Again and again and again if necessary.

Bring in your best brownie or blondie for a shot at the $100 first prize AND the exciting opportunity for your brownie recipe to feature as our slice of the week for sale at Capricorn Coffee so the whole town can enjoy it!!! There is also an under-12's category for the young up-and-coming bakers out there as well, so the whole family can join in on the fun.

The Capricorn Coffee team is very excited to be running the canteen tonight at Hayden’s Home Game for the Alpha Brumbies. We’ll be offering a range of delicious fresh burgers and chips, pulled pork loaded fries, Mexican nachos, as well as the classic footy favourites of hot chips, pies and sausage rolls.

Come along, grab a delicious feed for the whole family, help raise funds for the RFDS, and cheer on the Brumbies to their first home game win of the season!

Valentine’s Day is nearly here, and Capricorn Coffee is ready!! We have some wonderful flowers available for Valentine’s this year from Florista Haze, and we are also offering fresh tasty meals from Cracked Pepper Catering.

Larger or smaller versions of these flowers are available on request.

We are seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team for 2-3 shifts a week. Would suit a parent looking for school-friendly hours or someone looking to get out into the community more. Key responsibilities include food preparation, taking orders, making coffee and cleaning. Full training provided, no experience necessary. Perks include free coffee throughout your shift!

Capricorn Coffee is proud to promote and support local bakers and artisans from Alpha; there is so much talent in this region, and we love to showcase it for both locals and travellers to enjoy.

We are absolutely delighted that we are now able to offer our customers the amazing creations of Gemma Smithers, owner of the Dusty Cake Tin. Gemma is passionate about cooking with real ingredients from scratch, with everything coming fresh out of her kitchen and straight to the people of Alpha.

This week we have Gemma’s truly incredible Biscoff Cheesecake tins and her Oreo Cheesecake tins for sale - we suggest you get one of each, because we can’t pick a favourite between the two!

Come in and pick up one of these gorgeous cheesecakes, along with a fresh barista coffee, breakfast muffin, or a fresh sandwich or wrap for lunch.
