Friday Happy Hour at The Rising Sun.

For the long weekend, we’re extending Happy Hour this Friday from 4pm to 7pm.

Drop in for a drink at the bar and enter our weekly meat tray raffle, proudly supplied by Clare Valley Meats.

This week’s raffle will help support the ifarmwell project, with proceeds going back into the local community.

Happy Hour pricing runs from 4pm to 6pm during footy season, so you can get your tips in, settle in for a drink, stay for dinner and watch the game.

New Wine Wednesday at The Rising Sun, where we open something special under Coravin and pour it by the glass.

Tonight, we’re pouring the 2024 Vinha do Altar Branco from the Douro Valley, Portugal.

Fresh citrus, white peach and a little floral lift, with clean acidity and a gentle creaminess through the middle. It comes from a north-facing vineyard on the Fermentões plateau at 600 metres, planted to Viosinho, Gouveio and Arinto.

Tonight, we’re pouring the 2023 Wilhelm Walch Pinot Noir Prendo from Alto Adige, Italy.

Bright red cherry, wild strawberry and gentle spice, with a fresh alpine feel and soft, easy tannins. It’s light on its feet, cleanly made and quietly charming, from one of Alto Adige’s long-running family producers.
