One week ago today, we welcomed you to our Winter Masquerade Ball as part of the East Gippsland Winter Festival, and what an incredible night it was.

From the candlelit atmosphere and stunning masks to the amazing music, delicious food and a packed dance floor, it was an evening we’ll remember for a long time.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, Rendezvous East Gippsland for keeping the dance floor alive, Merj Studios for capturing these beautiful moments, our incredible team, and the East Gippsland Winter Festival for allowing us to be part of such a fantastic celebration of Winter across our region.

Front of House Supervisor & Front of House Staff

With our dinner service now established and consistently busy, The Riversleigh is seeking enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our growing team.

We are currently recruiting for the following casual positions:

▪️FRONT OF HOUSE SUPERVISOR▪️
$50 per hour
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing front of house operations, maintaining service standards, and ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

✨Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the Front of House team during service
Support the training of new team members
Act as the primary point of communication between the kitchen and front of house teams
Manage floor operations to ensure efficient and professional service
Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction
Assist with resolving customer enquiries and service issues
Support venue operations and maintain a positive team culture

✨Requirements
Previous experience in a Front of House supervisory role is essential
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Current RSA certification
Availability on Friday and Saturday evenings

▪️FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF▪️
We are also seeking experienced Front of House staff to support our growing operations.

✨Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service
Take food and beverage orders
Serve meals and beverages
Maintain venue presentation and cleanliness
Support smooth service operations

✨Requirements
Previous hospitality experience preferred
Current RSA certification
Professional presentation and strong communication skills
Availability on Friday and Saturday evenings

✨Position Details
Casual positions
Friday and Saturday evenings
Opportunity for additional shifts as we expand our dinner offerings
Flexible start times (ideally no later than 5:00pm)
Finish time will vary depending on service requirements

A customer favourite for good reason. 🍽️✨

Our traditional Osso Bucco features slow-cooked beef shin, braised until tender and finished with a fresh gremolata of parsley, lemon and garlic. Served with crusty bread, roasted Italian-style potatoes, broccoli and peppers.

We’re now three weeks into dinner service, and the response has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who has joined us so far. If you’re planning a visit, we recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
