This gem from the Ballarat Courier on 07/05/1969 captures the Smeaton Debutante Ball, held to raise money for the local swimming pool. A snapshot of satin gloves, bow ties, proud smiles and country-town tradition… the kind of memories that never really leave the dance floor. Is there anyone here you recognise?
