Hubro We should say at the outset, we know that people sometimes have trouble working out how to say our business name. Think the name’s weird? Together, we are HUBRO!

It’s ‘Hugh-bro’, because we are the Hughes brothers. Don’t blame us, blame our great grandfather and his brother, the first Hubros, John and Bill Hughes. We have taken our name from them, two amazing bro’s who showed everyone that hard work, ingenuity, and a strong sense of community, can build can build dreams. ntually pioneered and developed Charlestown, bringing services and entrepreneurialism to the district. Ice trucks before the days of fridges, picture theatres, petrol stations, taxis and property development – they did it all. We were honoured when we could take over their company name – Hubro Pty Ltd - and step out as two bro’s with a dream. Well, you won’t see us driving an ice truck, but you might be clinking ice into our luxury cold brew coffee, Hubrew (‘Hugh-brew’), to start your day and get you through. Or perhaps you’ll be shaking that ice as you usher in Friday with a Hubrew Espresso Martini. Or pouring it over quality vanilla icecream for the perfect affogato. Hubrew with ice and milk, or bubbly water and lime – it’s the smoothest cold brew coffee you’ll ever find. Infused in cold filtered water for eighteen hours and thrice filtered, this liquid gold will change the way you think about coffee. We love our family and we love working together. Tim brings the talents of a Food Scientist and an artist to the table, and Duncan brings a wealth of hospitality and culinary experience and a background in engineering and design. Our vision is vast, and our journey has only just begun with Hubrew. We believe in believing in your local community and supporting local businesses. We love the power of collaboration and the energy that is generated when creative and committed people share their ideas. We are presently looking to establishing great premises where local produce can be sold and championed, where the vibe is communal and energised. The big vision is a co-working space that supports start-up businesses and fosters a creative and productive artistic and business community. We are working hard towards that day, but in the meantime…
