Times flies sometimes, only days left with Norris Road State School collecting the soon to be announced total with the 4017 Project

This 4017 Project sees 50% of Book Sale Proceeds in Round Table Coffee head to a selected schools P&C within the 4017 postcode. February to May Sale Proceeds will be heading the Norris Road State School P&C.

What can you do?
- Come browse the shelves and find some different words to read. You will see plenty of great condition 2nd hand books along with a few Brand New books.
- Drop any books no longer needed at home by Round Table Coffee. All book donations are always welcome, it is a great part of how this all works so well. Your contribution goes towards the larger contribution every time and is always appreciated
- Share, tag, email a link and help spread the word for the 4017 Project towards Norris Road State School.

This moves to Brighton State School soon for another 4 months.

Hot tip from a human being that works in a business they also own; at the VERY LEAST acknowledge the human people in a shop you walk into.
Whether that be a return "Hello" to their "Hi there, what can I do for you?" or simply making eye contact; it goes a long way to show that are also a human being and that we are interacting with each other.
EVERY time that door opens we call a "Hi there", "Good Morning", "Morning", "Afternoon", "Hello, what can we do for you?" or a variation. Sometimes it can be missed (we understand that) but no eye contact or other acknowledgement sucks and can set a tome pretty quick. We are not a vending machine. [Wednesday 20/5/26 930am]

Getting about Bracken Ridge, the 4017 area and beyond has come up in a few conversations this morning.

Not everywhere around Brisbane has as many bus options as we can access to get about; 330, 331, 326, 327, 329, 310, 314, 312, N339, N310.

These can get you to lots of places including Train Stations, Sports Clubs, Parks, Cinemas and of course Shops and Supermarkets. The Supermarket one is why this post is here, most of the places in the area that people want to get too can be via a bus.

This can't be useful for everyone, we know that but at least there can be an option for some.

You can use https://translink.com.au/plan-your-journey/maps or https://caportal.com.au/bcc/brisbane-metro to see options; the Translink app for a phone (may not be up to the interstate options as a transport app, but...) can be handy .

At the end of May Norris Road State School P&C will be receiving 50% of all Book Sales in Round Table Coffee.

How does that work? When you drop by to browse the shelves and you find something interesting to buy HALF of the price you pay goes into the 4017 Project. Across the 4 month period that accumulates and is then donated directly to the P&C!

Almost $3000 has gone to Norris Road State School previously, around the 4017 postcode there has been over $27000 donated between Sandgate District State High School, Brighton State School, Bracken Ridge Kindergarten, Bracken Ridge State School, Shorncliffe State School, Bracken Ridge State High School & Nashville State School.
