I'm 40

Another solar trip, 360 round the sun
seconds to years, 4 decades are done
as much as it is, just a ruler of time
heres my thoughts as the 12 bells chime.

I look at you all and the stories you hold
god only knows the characters they mould
I know all mine and there is definitely a few
collecting the wisdom, if only I knew.

You are all filled with gold and I'm setting up the mine
I want to keep it going come rain, hail or shine.
For what I have discovered from my flavour of quirks...
observe their use and find out what works

So if you can't guess, I cannot shut up
I speak with the speed and mind of a pup
so learning to listen was my biggest care
that lead to a sign with a guy on a chair

So I'm giving myself gratitude for all I've achieved
from the creation of life to the friends I've grieved
this half was about learning, absorb what you can
Find the people you admire, to make you a man.

Next half is for building, but please hear me out
for it looks we're in the midst of a big social drought.
there are mountains in front of us, but it's all about the climb
I don't want presents, but I do need your time.

So if you have 4 hours I ask for that time.
these are my thoughts during the 12th bell chime.

Well done for making it this far. I plan on funding a proof of concept market that should help build the 3 pillars of wellbeing which include exercise, diet and above all social connection. Its amazing what you find when cleaning out a pub. This is gonna be my souviner. The banner I made for Brooksy on his thursday acoustic karaoke.

But shout out to adams for building the stage! This m**o was solid and it has lasted the test of time. Your some chippie.

I am gutted but one thing I learned from having awesome staff constantly leaving was to look forward to the next thing.
Don't be sad it ends be happy that it happened.

I can't even start to post the staff amd managers I've had over the last 7 years.

A pub is nothing but bricks and mortor until you fill it with people.

And we had some pretty great people.

If anything else develops I will let you all know.
