It is with a tinge of sadness but also a lot of excitement for the future, that I announce Sourced will be closing at its Florence St home, as of Monday 10th February as the end of our lease is here.
Sourced has been a major part of my life, and I know many of yours, during the 9 years we’ve been here. I have so many things to be thankful for since we rolled up the door on that first day in June 2011; after all, I found the love of my life 💓 when she walked through Sourced's door and we have subsequently
started our beautiful family together.
To all our dear and valued customers, a lot of whom have become friends; our amazing producers, growers, makers and suppliers who supported us from day one and with whom we maintain a wonderful relationship; we thank you for making us a part of your life on a daily basis.
When Sourced was named as ‘World’s Best neighbourhood shop: locain Monocle Magazine's first ever Global Retail Awards in 2014 I was exceedingly proud. My wonderful and dedicated team throughout this 9 year tenure have helped create Sourced into that much loved place and community.
Now, with the end of our lease in this space that we’ve turned from a nondescript warehouse shell to the Sourced you know, it is the perfect time to roll the door down, express our gratitude, and say a fond farewell to our neighbourhood and Sourced community.
We are sad to go but hopefully it won’t be for too long. Remember our sister venues of Gauge and Maker, where we look forward to seeing you for a visit.
Our last day of trade is Sunday 9th February; so come in and say goodbye, we would love to see you throughout this week and ensure you have one of your favourites for the last time whether it be the iconic cabbage pancake or those unbeatable rye crumpets with honeycomb.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sustaining the love for Sourced.
Jerome and the Sourced team.
