The first Picnic Society was formed in London. Its members would meet in the Pantheon on Oxford Street with each member providing a share of the entertainment and refreshments. Picnic [noun] An occasion when a packed meal is eaten outdoors, especially during an outing to the countryside: we swam and went on picnics. London’s Oxford Street is the birthplace of many classic trends but the act of pic

nicking would have to be one its best. To celebrate such a timeless event, two local Brisbane friends created The Picnic Society – a hassle free and gourmet alternative for
picnic lovers. Put simply – you create the event and The Picnic Society will provide you with a hamper full of goodies made lovingly with the finest local ingredients.
