As a small business, we know how tough it can be to stay on top of everything, and nights like yesterday remind us that we’re heading in the right direction. We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Cooper Small Business Award from Jonty Bush in the Café & Restaurant category!
This award is especially meaningful to us because it came from the community — our customers and supporters were the ones who nominated and voted for us, and that’s what truly brought us here. Knowing that the people who support us every day believe in what we do means the world to us.
A huge thank you to Jonty Bush for organising such a special event and for always supporting local businesses and our community. Initiatives like this truly make a difference for small businesses like ours.
Bruce is the owner of our café, and he’s truly the best person to work with. He’s motivated, passionate, and hardworking, always looking for ways to make our space even better for the community. He believed in me from the very beginning and has always given me the freedom to bring my ideas to life.
Next month, we’ll be celebrating Birdie Coffee’s first anniversary, along with one year of Free Coffee Tuesdays — a project that celebrates collaboration between small businesses with the goal of giving back to the community. We’ll also be celebrating a year of yoga classes, dog days, art markets, live music, and community breakfasts with the most hilarious trivia games.
We’re just getting started and we’re incredibly grateful to our wonderful team of baristas. Your exceptional hospitality skills have truly earned us this award.
