Fresh Ceviche, crispy battered Moreton Bay bug on a slider, tender bug and prawn meat with linguini and a rich prawn bisque, and fresh seafood spaghetti with EVO, lime and chilli - this is the excellent seafood you can expect at The FishBar Benowa.

Yiros are having a moment. They're the ultimate Mediterranean takeaway meal, with meat, salad, sauce and sometimes chips cuddled up in a cosy blanket. We've eaten them around Europe, and lately we've noticed them popping up on menus across the Gold Coast.
Here are three you might like to try:
1. Mana, Tamborine Mountain - several varieties including lamb and chicken with chips and optional extras available. We love this little Greek restaurant. Very authentic.
2. Cheek Cafe, Southport - lamb, chicken, haloumi, crispy chicken and peach available. Great modern versions of the dish.
3. The Yiros Shop, Molendinar - lamb, chicken souva available as dine in or drive through takeaway. Ultra convenient.
