Lately we’ve been talking a lot about what Nicolas actually is ❤️
We’re not trying to be a massive chain restaurant or follow every trend going around.
We still cook with extra virgin olive oil, real cream and real butter.
We still believe in proper hospitality, quality ingredients and looking after people.
We cook in stainless steel pans.
We recycle.
We care about consistency and doing things properly.
Are we perfectly traditional Italian? Probably not 😂
But we are very proudly Nicolas.
A little Italian influence, a little Australian personality and a little cheeky at times.
Over the years this place has become more than just a restaurant to us. We see people come in for first dates, birthdays, anniversaries, catch ups with friends, or sometimes just because they’ve had a rough week and want a comforting meal and a familiar face.
Some customers move away and come straight back to Nicolas when they’re visiting Bunbury again. That feeling never gets old.
The familiar faces.
The crab linguine.
The pizza.
The wine.
That feeling of home.
So thank you for supporting our little family restaurant all these years ❤️🇮🇹
