Happy New Year Everyone!!!
As we prepare to re-open on Monday 30th January, we along with many other local businesses, are stuggling with the potato crisis. Across 3 Bunbury suppliers we still cannot access chips or hash browns currently.
We did manage to stockpile before the holidays, however with the high demand we recieve on a dialy basis, this will not last long.
As such we have made the decision to make some changes to our menu.
We will, for the foreseeable future, remove medium & large chips from the menu. We would like for as many loyal customers as possible to be able to access the product, we believe this is the only way we can achieve this in the short term. We will re-introduce medium & large as soon as availabilty is back to normal. We will also only serve hashbrowns in our breakfast wrap & roll.
Whilst we understand this is an inconvenience to our customers, we have a good relationship with our reps and with their assistance we hope to be able to recieve product soon.
We are in competition with all other business in Bunbury who have potato products on their menu. The suppliers are doing their best to be fair to everyone which means that we probably won't get the amount we have ordered.
Other companies have removed bowls of chips from their menu and only serve with a main meal, others have reduced portion sizes or increased prices. We are trying to maintain a consistent approach to serving sizes and cost and will continue to moniter the situation.
Please be kind to the Dexters team, this is not their fault and we are managing the situation as best we can.
We look forward to welcoming our returning customers and new students for 2023.
