Today, I am so grateful to be celebrating 10 years of business in the Jammin' Coffee Van. And what a journey it has been. 🎉
10 years ago, it started with an idea and a hope that my small business would be supported well enough to gain longevity. What followed was a decade of lessons, growth and community service that has far exceeded my wildest expectations.
10 years of coffee and conversations, and I truly could not have done it without the support and loyalty from my community and wonderful customers. Customers who not only became friends, but also became family. Behind every coffee I have served you over the years is a story, a moment and a connection.
We have laughed together and we have cried together. We've celebrated life and commiserated loss. We have cheered on each other's successes while also supporting each other during the low moments. You have all watched my babies grow and have been an integral part of their upbringing.
How could I possibly thank you all enough for the past decade of success? From the bottom of my heart - I truly thank you. ❤️
To my whole family who have shown me unwavering support from the very beginning. Whether it was building me my new coffee van (Dad, you're amazing) or helping me with everything else related to the business (Mum, Rikki and Shaye). You have seen me work through the tough times that no one else saw, and have always helped me to persevere towards better days. And those days came, time and time again... Always supported by my loving family. I can't thank you enough! 💙
To my beautiful friends who often come to keep me company on the quiet days, and are forced to wait for hours on end to see me or grab a cuppa on my busy days. Your support means the world to me and I love you all... Thank you! 💛
To the staff who have worked for me in the past. I could not have come this far in business without your support and I thank you so very much for the assistance you offered me when I needed it most. Thank you! 💚
And lastly, to my world... Chris, Zalia, Siiva and Saija. We did it guys!!! The coffee van would not be the success it is today without your daily support and love. My workplace very quickly became a second home to you all and I absolutely love the connection and friendship you have created with so many of my customers. Thank you for allowing me to work every single weekend for 10 years, and for your understanding when holidays became few and far between due to the business. I did it all for you girls and I do hope you take pride and feel just as much accomplishment at this achievement as I do because it was definitely a family effort. I love you all endlessly! 🩷
So where to from here? Well I reckon I've got another 10 years of coffee left in me... So I guess it's business as usual. ☕
