We just want to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us for the Ballarat Winter Fest Hot Choc Showdown 🫶🏼🤩

We are so thrilled by the number of people who made the trip to Buninyong to support us, so many of you for the very first time.

Over the Ballarat Winter Festival we made almost four times our usual number of hot chocolates plus an incredible amount of madeleines, and we couldn’t be more grateful 🫶🏼

To everyone who stopped by, shared a hot chocolate, dipped a madeleine and supported our little café, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts 🤍

This community never stops amazing us. We hope to welcome you back to Buninyong again very soon ☕

Here at Maggie and Kate we would just like to say a big thank you to you all 🫶🏼

We started this place with a simple dream to create somewhere warm, where people feel nourished and at home. Where kindness comes with the coffee and every face at the door is a welcome one ☕️🍰

Ten years later we are still showing up every single morning trying to do exactly that. And you have shown us what we are doing matters, and that means the world to us 🥹

Maggie & Kate is entering Ballarat’s Best Pie Competition this August and we are excited to showcase our pie 🤩🥧

Inspired by our Scottish roots (and of course our Scottish Andy! 🤭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿) and our love of traditional recipes!

We bring you “Andy’s Highland Pie” a chicken, leek & black pudding with whisky cream sauce and wrapped in beautiful buttery shortcrust pastry 🥧

We cannot wait to share it with you this August 1st 🤭
