📚🚐 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲!

Townsville City Council’s Mobile Library Van continues to bring books, stories and connection straight to our growing outer suburbs and the community response has been wonderful to see.

One of the newest and most popular stops is Burdell, where the van now visits Junction Café every second Thursday. With a playground, great coffee and a welcoming space, it’s fast becoming a favourite for local families.

Divisional Councillor Brodie Phillips says:
“It’s great to see the delivery of a core Council service – being the library – brought right to the doorsteps of our fast‑growing northern suburbs.”

The Mobile Library Van also continues to attract regular visitors at Elliot Springs and across the wider community, supporting learning, literacy and connection for residents of all ages.
