Good morning everyone,

We are writing to inform you that, due to personal circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to close the cafe permanently, effective immediately.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you, our valued customers and staff, for your loyalty and support. You have been an integral part of our cafe's journey, and we appreciate the friendships we have formed.
We are thankful for the Burnie Library for taking the chance on us, so that we may experience having been a small part of your lives. We appreciate the humour and patience you have all shown us.
We wish the best for anyone stepping in and becoming the new Library Cafe operators, knowing you all will welcome them just as openly as you did us.

Burnie Library’s Knitting for Charity group was filled with joy this Christmas when one of its cherished members, Helen, age 88, received a very special visit from her sister Marion, age 80, who travelled all the way from Cornwall, England. Their reunion brought a beautiful sense of family, love, and togetherness to the group.
Knitting for Charity meets every Tuesday morning at Burnie Library from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The sessions are free, friendly, and open to anyone. Whether you’re experienced with wool and thread crafts or just beginning your creative journey. Everyone is welcome!
