Our winter live music series continues on Sunday July 5th with STORIES, SONGS & SIX-STRINGS featuring ‘So Lonesome’ – the heartfelt solo project of South West balladeer Brooke Kelly.

Over the years, songs have taken Brooke from South West pubs to stages around the country, touring and recording with Australian heavyweights Kingswood and building a reputation as one of the region’s most compelling storytellers. Rooted in old-time country, folk and indie rock, his songs move between heartfelt reflection, sharp-witted storytelling and the occasional foot-stomping singalong.

For this special Ballads of Banksia performance, Brooke will take listeners behind the songs – exploring the people, places and moments that inspired them. Between the stories he’ll perform tracks from across the So Lonesome catalogue, including brand new singles from his upcoming album, all played across his prized collection of classic vintage guitars, each with tales of their own to tell.

Warm fires, good company and a choice afternoon of stories, songs and six-strings.

On Sunday June 21st our intimate Sunday live music series continues with a very special visit from one of the South West’s most entertaining musical collectives – The Dunn Bay Wailers.

Originally forming in Dunsborough, The Wailers have built a loyal following around the South West region with their rousing blend of sea shanties, maritime folk songs and spirited singalongs.

Expect soaring harmonies, tales of the high seas, accordions, guitars, mandolins and plenty of opportunities to join in from your seat.

Whether you’re a seasoned sailor, a folk music tragic or simply curious to see what all the fuss is about, this promises to be one of the most entertaining Sunday sessions of the season.

We’ll have arvo DJs on deck for all your shopping soundtracks + winter beers, cocktails and our delicious weekend lunch menu on the go.
