We want to pack the place out like when the Australia Day Fireworks are on!

A show of support in numbers for overturning the fishing ban for both commercial and recreational fishing.

You can’t just close people’s businesses and livelihoods with 3 weeks notice!!!

WE ARE CONSIDERING HOLDING A RALLY VERY SOON

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Not just any rally, our version of a rally!

The public support is MASSIVE but we want to prove it!

Who would be interested in attending?

We are thinking:

*Mass gathering showing support for both commercial and recreational fishing being opened up.
*Cash prizes for best banners.
*Guest speaking by those most affected.
* Photos with Sharkman and lollies for the kids.
*Refreshments and a BBQ of fresh local fish.
*Media will be welcome.
*All commercial fishermen invited and welcome to speak.
*A special invite to all of our customers and page followers.

Come and show your support in person, we would be very appreciative!

Day and time to be confirmed.

Comment below any other good ideas ⬇️

We are starting to organise!

Thankyou 🙏🏻

It looks like just a postie coming to my front door today caught on my motion sensored cameras which give a notification to my phone but that’s not the point.

Excuse the leaves on the ground near my front door but unfortunately I’m never home to keep it clean. I’m always out fishing or at our fish shop.

What that postie is holding is a special envelope with lots of fancy stickers on the outside containing paperwork from the WA fisheries and WA government officially notifying me that my commercial fishing licence that I own and only purchased a bit more than a month ago is being permanently cancelled.

There was something else in there about compensation that I only skim read because ive had a busy day in the shop and cbf with their s**t but from what I read it seems like they are trying to quickly give us money because we have been in the media howling.

Of course I wasnt home to receive the mail and the postie never left it for me but I know what the envelope contained because the exact same postie dropped the exact same envelope off to Brians house earlier today. My guess is every other commercial fisherman who is affected got the exact same envelope and letters today as well.

It was just a postie but for some reason it reminded me of documentaries ive watched of N**i Germany days where the SS were going to peoples houses and rounding them up.

To me it seems like they are trying to rush this through very quickly but im getting an inkling that the public backlash is growing. People are pi**ed off and we want to encourage and incite you all as we need your help and support more than ever!

We have seen the government do these kinds of things before in the past in this state in similar instances like “Keep your claws off the Crays Kelly!” and the Cultural Heritage Laws both of which the government eventually changed their minds after the people of Western Australia went absolutely berserk.

This not only steals off, disrespects and basically spits on local commercial fishermen but also robs a very high percentage of the Western Australian people of access to fresh local seafood.

If it goes through it also sets a precedent that no one is safe from the government ever again. At any time your fishery, job, future, business, pastime or hobby can be taken away from you with only 3 weeks notice. You have all been warned and we need to make a stand!

Talking to over 100 customers at our shop personally today and no ones happy! In all of my life we are now entering a time that no one has ever seen before.

We need to get these new fishing rules overturned!

We wont sign or acknowledge your papers and we wont give up!

Brian has reached out to 60 Minutes to do a story.

Get behind us everyone, we are all in for a hell of a ride!!!
