Slow-cooked brisket tacos, crispy karaage, Nashville-spiced cauliflower... and 1.5 hours of bottomless margaritas to wash it all down. Because one margarita was never going to cut it.

Look up next time you're in. 🙃
The federation columns and arches you're sitting under were designed by Brisbane's Lange Powell in partnership with Mareeba architect Richard Hill, and built by local Cairns families back in 1926. One of them, the Watkins family, documented the whole build and donated the original photos to us during the restoration.
One hundred years of history, hiding in plain sight.

A hundred years of stories, and we're still writing them. 👀
When this building opened in 1926 as a branch of the National Bank of Australasia, local families helped construct it from the ground up. The Watkins family even documented the original build and donated the photos to us during the restoration. That kind of history doesn't happen everywhere.
