Our friends at Mama Coco are hosting a PNG Independence Fundraising Dinner at the German Club Cairns this Saturday, September 16th. All proceeds will benefit the Hanuabada Village Fire Appeal - Cairns.
Hanuabada is a village around the modern city of Port Moresby. It is home to 20,000 Motu-Koitabuans, the original inhabitants of this part of PNG. Recently a fire destroyed the homes of 200 people, so we are hoping to help them rebuild their homes and lives.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for kids under 16 and are available at Mama Coco, Billy's Coffee or at this link:
