🚨TOKIWA IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Yesterday, we announced that TOKIWA would be serving sushi rolls at the “WA - Arigatou -” event hosted by TRIANGLE this Saturday, May 9th, at Caravonica State School — but we’re excited to share that we will now also be serving Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) ✌️🍗

Although this was a very sudden decision, we are incredibly happy that we’ll be able to provide both our sushi rolls and freshly fried karaage to everyone attending the event 😆✨

Both Ponzu and Saki will be cooking on-site in the event kitchen and doing their very best for everyone, so we sincerely look forward to welcoming many of you there 😉🧡

⚠️⚠️ Due to our participation in the event, TOKIWA Sushi & Bowls on Sheridan Street will be CLOSED this Saturday ⚠️⚠️

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to our regular customers, but we would love to see you at Caravonica State School instead 😊

Caravonica State Schoolにて行われるTRIANGLEさん主催の
『和-ありがとう-』にTOKIWAより寿司ロールの提供をしますとお伝えしましたが
急遽唐揚げも提供できることになりました✌️🍗

とても緊急な決定でしたが
無事に当日寿司ロールに揚げたての唐揚げを多くのご来場の皆様に提供できる事を非常に嬉しく思います😆✨

Ponzu, Sakiともに現地のキッチンで
皆様のために頑張って調理いたしますので多くの方のご来場心よりお待ちしております😉🧡

This Saturday, TOKIWA will be serving sushi rolls at the event “WA - Arigatou -” hosted by 😆✨
Please check out our menu 🤲

At this event, you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese food, as well as performances by many artists, including live music and taiko drumming 🇯🇵

📍 Location: Caravonica State School
📅 Date: Saturday, 9/5
⏰ Time: 11:00–16:00

This is a charity event 🌱
All proceeds will be donated to support local schools in Cairns (Freshwater / Caravonica) as well as relief efforts in Fukushima, Japan.

We are truly proud that TOKIWA can be part of such a wonderful event 😌
Raffle tickets will also be available on the day 🎁
Lucky winners may even get a TOKIWA voucher 😉🧡

We were fortunate to welcome many customers throughout April, and thanks to your support, we’ve smoothly moved into a new month 🙏✨

TOKIWA New menu introduction Vol.2🍚

『Roast Beef Rice Bowl 』

Introducing a slightly luxurious dish made with premium Tablelands beef, raised gracefully in our local Cairns area 🙌✨

The beef is slow-cooked at low temperature for 5 hours, resulting in an incredibly tender, moist, and juicy texture 🤤

Paired with a poached egg🥚and fresh sprouts 🌱, and finished with our homemade light and refreshing onion sauce🧅

This is a dish we at Tokiwa are truly proud of ✊❗️

It will be available in limited quantities each day, but we plan to continue offering it over an extended period so that as many customers as possible can enjoy it 🥩😉

We’re confident this is a dish you’ll absolutely love, so we hope you’ll give it a try😆🧡

TOKIWA will be providing our food at the event “Japanese Festival - 和 Arigatou -”, hosted by the working holiday trio “TRIANGLE,” on May 9th 😆🙌

The event will take place at Caravonica State School from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM🏫

Details are still being finalized, but we’ll share more updates as soon as they’re confirmed. In the meantime, please make sure to follow TOKIWA on Instagram and Facebook so you don’t miss any announcements 🙂‍↕️

TOKIWA’s Easter schedule 🐣

We will be closed from April 3rd to April 6th 🙂‍↕️

Since opening in February, we’ve been truly supported by so many amazing customers 🥹🙏

It’s thanks to all of you that we, as owners, are able to smile every single day.
We are sincerely grateful 😌

We’ll take this short break to recharge, refresh our bodies, and have some important discussions about the future growth of TOKIWA.

We’ll be back from 7th April, ready to give it our all again ✊❗️

We also have new menu items coming soon, so please continue to support TOKIWA 😆💛

One of TOKIWA’s most popular special menu items will be available only until the end of March 😨💦

The bowl featuring the perfect harmony of sweet egg and savory, aromatic chicken has been loved by so many of you 🥹👏🏼

It will be discontinued at the end of March, but don’t worry—it will definitely be back someday 💛

In the meantime, stay tuned and look forward to our exciting new bowl coming next😉🍚
