A little while ago, Jeannie popped into the shop and bought a handful of dolls. I asked her what she was going to do with them and she said 'cut their heads off, paint them and put succulents in them for her garden'. I asked her to send me some photos if she remembered, and she did!

How cool are they? Loving! My green, upcycling heart is very pleased to see these.

We're open today, Friday and Saturday this week from 10am to 4pm at 4 Lewis Drive Castlemaine.

Yes, it's true. When I go to 'work', I'm hanging out with my friends and playing with clothes. Don't tell anyone though. We can't have everyone opening up op shops 😀

We're turning 5! So we're having a sale.

Come and celebrate our 5th birthday this Saturday 6 June at 4 Lewis Drive Castlemaine. We'll be open from 10am to 4pm.

Pick up 5 adults clothes for $5 dollar bucks (including shoes, hats, belts etc). And as the symbol of a 5th anniversary is wood - all the money we raise on Saturday will go to conservation. There will be a tip jar on the counter if you want to give a little more.

If you're not cool with waste and over consumption, check out secondhand fashion. It keeps clothes in use for longer, reduces the amount of new stuff that needs to be made and gives you your own unique style. Loving!

Head to your nearest op shop and have a rummage and hunt for vintage treasure. There are six in Castlemaine.

We'll be back open tomorrow from 10am to 4pm at 4 Lewis Drive Castlemaine.

Ok going out on a limb here (tree joke) and putting myself in front of the camera... This Saturday 6 June is a big anniversary for The Good Op Shop - it's turning 5yo! I can't believe we've been selling secondhand stuff for this long. It's been so fun. We're also very pleased, as together we've given back $50,000 to nature. Thank you so much for being a part of it.

So we're going to knock on wood and hope we can keep going for another five years.

Come down for a sale: 5 adults clothing items for $5. This includes shoes, belts, hats etc. And we'll have a little tip jar on the counter too.

Thanks again for being such legends and helping us to run this little enterprise. If you have a crazy idea to protect nature and improve our sustainability, pop in and have a chat. We're dreaming up new things too.
