Mel and I had a date tonight, as I'm going away for another trip tomorrow, and it was lovely.
We went to the movies to see 'Michael'. It was great and we're looking forward to the sequel but someone in the theatre already ruined it for us and said that apparently he dies in the end.
Anyway, when it was over I turned my phone back on to see that I got a message from David Kempton MP.
The message was simple but ridiculously overwhelming (which seems to be something I've said a lot lately but I can't think of another phrase that quite describes how I feel).
All it said was,"You Bewdy!" with the below picture.
Honestly, I don't think we're better than Australia Zoo and I can't believe that we'll stay in the top spot until the 28th but to see The Savannahlander in the number one position had both Mel and I crying in the cinema.
I think everyone around us thought that we were way, way too into Michael Jackson.
Thankyou all for voting for us and for contributing to what will be the most anxiety filled 2 weeks of my life.
And if you haven't voted yet, please vote for The Savannahlander. A place in the top 3 could mean some very big things for the communities of Queensland's Gulf Savannah Country.
