Important Announcement



It is with great regret to announce that Hillside Café will be closing its doors this Saturday due to personal reasons. Our last day of operation will be Saturday 27th December.

We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the years, particularly those who have been loyal to us since we began as The Vann on the Hill.

So please come down this Saturday & join us for one last coffee.
Unfortunately, due to the recent power outage Bacon & Egg Rolls and our Delicious house made pies will not be available.

Announcement!

Hillside Cafe will no longer be offering a kitchen service as of Wednesday 19/11/2025.
Unfortunately, the kitchen has not had enough trade since it started operating, forcing us to make the difficult decision to close this service.
We will still be offering our delicious housemade pies, sausage rolls, Bacon and egg rolls, meals with rice, fresh sandwichs, toasties, croissants and housemade sweets.
We apologise to those who have supported this aspect of the business.

Partnered with local coffee roaster, Hill Roasters Espresso , we bring you Hillside Coffee, a medium-dark roast with hints of nutty and caramel flavours.

We are sure you will find our new blend delicious & very satisfying.
