Have you ever wondered what to do with the crusts of your Raisin Bread 🍞 or any bread for that matter

Here's an idea for you that we made yesterday

French Raisin Toast

Whisk together a couple of eggs with some milk

Add some cinnamon sugar and a little vanilla essence

Dip your bread in the mixture (just quickly)

Pan fry in some butter (you can pour a little bit of the egg mix in as well if you like)

Fry until golden

Add maple syrup, powdered sugar and fruit and you have yourself a scrumptious little brunch/dessert

Did you know we make meals for our Senior Study Groups 4 nights a week.

Here is what we are doing this week
Beef and vegetable casserole with either mashed potatoes or a potato bake

This could be anywhere from 30 to 50 meals.

This term so far we have made

Pasta bolognese 🍝
Honey soy chicken and vegetable 🥬
Pasta Bosciaola 🥓

We’re so excited to officially welcome Paige as a permanent member of our Café Macarthur team! 🎉💛

Paige’s passion, reliability, and awesome energy have made her a standout from day one — so we’re even more thrilled to announce that she will now step into the role of Second in Charge. 🙌
This means Paige will be the go‑to person leading the café whenever Karon, our Café Manager is offsite, ensuring everything runs smoothly and our customers continue to get the warm, friendly service they love. ☕✨

We are so excited to say we have some amazing new home made treats in the cafe now

Our bite size pistachio and chocolate bites as well as biscoff and chocolate

Made in house by our fabulous Denny

We are also making Nutella Crepes with strawberries - not available on the app as they sell out too quickly

These treats are so popular we are making them daily to keep up with the demand
