Jean Vilhena of Fazenda Santa Monica is one of Brazil’s most exciting coffee producers, constantly experimenting with fermentation to push flavour in new directions. This Catucaí lot underwent a 108-hour fermentation with ORO yeast, creating a cup that’s vibrant, expressive and surprisingly elegant.

This coffee is available in espresso only.

Notes: blood orange, kombucha, cacao nibs

High up in the Ecuadorian Andes near the Peruvian boarder, July Jumbo is producing some exciting coffees at Finca Yum Y Boss. This Sidra is everything we love about the variety - juicy, big bodied and refined with sweetness. The controlled double fermentation is done with restraint, adding depth and intensity without taking over the cup. Ripe yellow peach notes and syrupy texture with a hint of lemon and refined sugar, with a slight cinnamon aftertaste.

Orijem Timor Lot 5D

We’re pleased to offer for the first time a coffee from Timor-Leste, one of our closest neighbours. Through a friend, we were introduced to Gobie and the team at Orijem Timor who helped establish a wet mill in the village of Laclo in 2023. This Lot 5D has been carefully fermented for 110 hours at low temperature then dried on raised beds. A winner at the 2024 Festival Kafe Timor annual coffee competition, this lot is a standout example of what’s possible in the region.
