Our Story
Rustic Thai began with something simple — love, family, and a passion for sharing authentic Thai food.
Back in 2022, our journey started in Warrawong. As a young family with a dream, we wanted to create more than just a restaurant — we wanted to create a place where people could come together, enjoy authentic Thai flavours, and feel the warmth of home in every meal.
Starting from the beginning wasn’t easy. Behind every service were long hours, early mornings, late nights, and the challenge of balancing family life while building a small business from the ground up. But through determination, hard work, and the support of our community, Rustic Thai slowly became more than just our dream — it became a place shared by many.
For us, Thai food is more than recipes. It tells stories, brings people together, and creates memories around the table. Every dish we serve carries tradition, passion, and the flavours we grew up with.
Over the years, we have been incredibly grateful for every customer who supported us, celebrated milestones with us, and became part of the Rustic Thai family. Your support gave us the courage to keep growing.
And now, we are excited to begin our next chapter.
Rustic Thai is moving to a new home in Wollongong. Soon, we will be welcoming you to 126 Keira Street, Wollongong — bringing the same heart, same family values, and the same passion for Thai food into a new space and a new experience.
This move represents growth, new opportunities, and another dream becoming reality for our family.
We cannot wait to open our doors and continue creating memories with all of you.
